The installation of the water treatment and production micro-plant (PMP) allows access to drinking water within optimal deadlines with the remote CAPE management. Destined for urban and rural regions, this container micro-plant solution has the ability to respond to the need of drinking water whether by injecting it into the networks, via independent fountains or by fuel trucks for the remote locations.

KWA intervenes from the identification of the regions who have critical lack of water until the set-up of the micro-plants including the explorations and the drilling phases.

1. Drilling
The main idea is to drill the groundwater and pump it through a vertical drilling to supply a water network.

The first step is the water detection with the qualified personnel as a hydrogeologist. The establishment of the drilling is very important to optimize the flow rate. We implement scout drillings. If the rates of flow are sufficient, we change them into exploitation drillings equipped with PVC, steel or stainless steel tubing, massive gravel if needed and concrete for the capping at the surface to avoid water pollution and the infiltration of surface water.

Immersed Pumps: 1 to 60 m3/h. 3”, 4” et 6”, single phased (with starting capacitor) or three-phased. The drilling pump is conceived to drill water from the deep wells, in fact, we remind that surface pumps can’t exceed 8 meters for a proper suction.

2. Pumping and water treatment
We suggest pre-assembled and ready-to-use pumping plants that will satisfy your needs. Our designs take into account the required use and include the tank, the pumps, the control panel and all the accessories. Our pumping plants have a polyethylene, fiberglass or concrete tank to make sure the infiltration and exfiltration risks are eliminated.

The water treatment depends on its quality which varies with the origin and the alterations it sustains through time. Therefore, the water must be analyzed permanently because it’s vital to adjust the water treatment to its composition.
The classic and complete water treatment undergoes through many steps, some of them are not necessary when the water is relatively clean.

The micro-plants are connected to electric national network if available and equipped with a generator for emergency. It delivers electricity to maintain water production without interruption thanks to the integrated inverter system. The autonomy depends on the location of the plant (urban or rural) and its daily production capacity.
Our generators are Heavy Duty type, secured, soundproof and equipped with larger fuel tank to reduce the frequency of refueling.

3. USN (Urban Supply Network)
The demographic evolution, the industrial and economic expansions often create problems of water supply. Many urban cities can’t optimize their existing water resources and reserves anymore. Consequently, the running companies find themselves unable to maintain the distribution as usual with the regular interruptions and lack of water supplies.

Many solutions can be found to counteract against these difficulties which are dams and water retentions. The techniques have two major drawbacks: they need huge investments and they need a lot of time before actually starting to work (several years).

The project suggests alternative solutions that can provide immediate supply to the needs of any city by putting in place an Urban Supply Network USN with PMPs. The whole system is optimized by the drilling technique from the water table.

This USN technique by KWA is coupled with a CAPE system that can optimize the existing water supply network with more versatility and control over the management of resources, risk management and optimal distribution.

The USN is an optimal solution that can cover the complementary supply that will cover the water needs in daily cubic meters.

The PMPs are coupled with the existing USN, they are stand-alone, independent and supply directly the consumer’s needs nearby.

They work according to many criteria:
• Energy and pumping autonomy
• Possibility of the Multiplication of PMPs over a given area
• Complete Management through a CMC (Control and Management Center) to optimize the localization and the rates of flow of water according to the needs and the data exchanged with the information system.

The methodology consists in generating and producing multi-pumping linked by the CAPE system and managed by the CMC. This way, the urban needs of water will be covered instantaneously by increasing or decreasing the supplies.

A preliminary study consists in:
• The global needs defined by the National Water Company.
• Analysis of the existing network layouts
• The demographic evolution over 25 years to define the future needs
• The urban expansion and the movement of the masses to urban cities
• Hydrology and cartography of the soils showing the resources
• The industrial growth associated to important future needs of water.

These data, studies and analysis lead us to properly respond to any city’s needs and implement the right and efficient solutions.

When defined, we install the necessary PMPs according to the study and we link them to each other using the CAPE. The CMC manages, controls, schedules and optimizes the rates of flow according to the demands of the National Water Company and other important indicators like interruptions, consumption peak, technical interventions…
